Just play the Beatles with out a physical format. Again the radio signal from my router could be the cause because it needs to travel to walls etc. With my new NODE2i it was good more then often. On the old NODE2 it was the lowest quality always, weak. No doubt because it can handle 5Ghz then just 2Ghz. With my NODE2i I did notice from time to time a better WiFi singnal from the diagnostic menu. Note this was mostly my old NODE2 unit though.

But if of you read Bluesound own forum ( most like you have) you see many users are very frustrated with their WiFi card that’s inside their units. The store did take my expensive router in return so no money spoiled.

As for the router I did change it to an expensive, well received Cisco unit. In the end I asked politely if my unit was a faulty one, a hardware issue. Is the WiFi card/chip so poor inside the NODE2i/NODE2? I did raise a ticket to Bluesound Support. But all other equipments works perfectly though WiFi even though my router is downstairs. And as I said I have mine router downstairs. And I see no point of using WiFi should it only boil down to that choice.
